Mike is an experienced private equity investor with a more than 20 year track record in growth equity, buyouts, carve-outs, turnarounds, structured equity and quoted equity investments.
With previous roles including Partner & Head of UK Healthcare at 3i and Head of Principal Investments EMEA at Macquarie, Mike has originated, executed, managed and successfully exited investments across many industry sectors in the European mid-market including healthcare investments such as Westminster Healthcare and Care Principles. He began his career with an operating role at Mobil Oil UK, where he managed a £30 million turnover business for the Retail Fuels Division.
Mike is currently on the boards of Sapio Sciences, Validant, Linimed and VISUfarma and has worked closely with the management teams of Quotient Sciences and Envision Pharma Group.
He has a degree in Management & Systems from City University and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. From the UK, Mike has led deals on both sides of the Atlantic as well as throughout Europe.
