  London, UK – Global Healthcare Opportunities, or GHO Capital Partners LLP (“GHO”), the European specialist investor in global healthcare, announces an increased investment in its portfolio company Validant, the leading international provider of quality, compliance and regulatory affairs consulting to Biotech, Pharma and MedTech companies.

  In just three years of partnership with GHO, Validant has more than tripled in size, significantly broadening its footprint throughout the US, Asia and Europe through rapid organic growth and strategically accretive M&A. To support this growth, the business substantially enhanced its management team and heavily invested in infrastructure to allow the business to operate on a global scale.

  Validant’s 2019 to 2021 combination with DataRevive, IDEC, Oriel Stat-A-Matrix, Greenleaf Health and Clinical Outcomes Solutions has transformed the group into a global, full-service life science consulting firm focused on managing and resolving complex regulatory issues.

  The increased investment from GHO, alongside Validant’s management team, is supplemented with a new consortium of investors led by funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (“LACERA”).

  With fresh capital and an extended time frame to drive additional value accretion, Validant is well positioned for the next stage of its expansion as it further cements its position as the global leader in quality, compliance and regulatory affairs healthcare consulting. This will be achieved organically with the roll-out of existing services, expansion into geographic and service adjacencies as well as through transformative strategic add-on acquisitions.
