Kostas has over 10 years of experience in data science (DS) and artificial intelligence (AI). Prior to GHO, Kostas was the Chief Technology Officer at WovenLight, a data and analytics firm focused on value creation for private equity-owned portfolio companies, where he led the company’s efforts to deliver ΑΙ solutions across the investment lifecycle.  Before that, Kostas was an Associate Partner and Head of DS R&D at McKinsey & Company’s AI division QuantumBlack, where he led multiple DS projects spanning various industries with a strong focus on the pharmaceuticals industry, while also leading the company’s global efforts on DS R&D.

Kostas has a PhD and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, both from the University of Edinburgh and graduated from the National Technical University of Athens with an MEng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. A native Greek speaker, Kostas has lived and worked in the UK, Singapore, Finland and Greece.
