David is a 25 year veteran of the biopharmaceutical industry with executive and operational experience in the development and launch of over 20 products.

Previously, David was Senior Vice President of Global Market Access at Biogen with responsibility for securing patient access to Biogen products worldwide. Prior to Biogen, he founded a consultancy delivering business and commercial strategies for biopharmaceutical clients. He previously worked at Elan, as Vice President of Pharmacoeconomics, Managing Director, Asset Executive, and Head of International Operations. Dr. Miller began his career at GlaxoSmithKline, where he assumed increasing responsibilities toward becoming Vice President of Global Health Outcomes.

He served as a Director on the National Pharmaceutical Council Board of Directors, is a member of advisory boards at the University of Maryland Baltimore and University of Iowa, and is a board member of the Walther Foundation, a charitable organisation supporting youth education. He served on the Board of Directors of Elan Pharma Ltd. and was Chair of the Board of Grants for the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education.

A dual US/UK citizen, he has lived and worked in markets in North America, Europe and Asia. Dr. Miller is the author or co-author of more than 70 scientific publications. He holds a degree in pharmacy from the University of Iowa and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland Baltimore,  where he studied health economics and policy.
