Please be aware that GHO’s brand and name may be subject to fraudulent misuse by malicious external parties. This could take the form of fake websites or job advertisements, or the use of non-authentic email accounts or phone numbers claiming to be affiliated with GHO, in order to obtain personal information or money. These actions are committed by unauthorised persons not associated with GHO and who use continuously evolving fraudulent tactics to scam victims. GHO does not authorise any misuse of its name, brand, or reputation, and does not tolerate fraudulent activity. As such, GHO is not responsible for the consequences of any of these fraudulent activities.
Please be informed that GHO does not conduct any public solicitation with respect to investments, fundraising, cryptocurrency, or opening accounts, including print and online articles, advertisements, or postings on social media sites, messaging apps, such as Telegram, WeChat, or WhatsApp, or other public platforms. Any investment related communication received from these platforms purporting to be from a GHO professional is fraudulent and should be reported to authorities. GHO reserves the right to take all appropriate steps to protect its legal rights and reputation.
When communicating with GHO, please:
- Ensure that you are using GHO’s only authorised website which is https://ghocapital.com/.
- Only respond to ‘GHO’ emails sent from an authorised GHO e-mail address and only send emails intended for GHO employees or representatives to GHO authorised email addresses. A GHO authorised email address will end with ‘@ghocapital.com’.
- Be aware that fraudulent emails often seek to replicate a typical GHO email in order to appear to have come from GHO. View emails with caution and take extra care and attention prior to clicking on links or opening attachments. These links may redirect you to a non-GHO site, and these attachments may include malware or other harmful content.
- Be cautious if you receive an unsolicited telephone call from anyone purporting to be affiliated with GHO; it is possible that any such call is fraudulent or ‘spoofed’ (originating from a different phone number to that displayed). In such circumstances, you should not provide any information. If you regularly deal with a GHO employee or representative, please consider calling such GHO person directly on their work number.
- Bear in mind that GHO does not engage with retail investors or offer retail investment products to the general public – either directly or through any kind of intermediary.
- Note GHO will never ask you to solicit payment of funds or wiring of funds over the phone, email, or text.
