Martin Dewhurst has over 30 years of experience in the health and life sciences sector. ​Prior to joining as a Senior Advisor at GHO Capital, Martin co-founded and co-led the McKinsey Health Institute, a non-profit entity dedicated to advancing research and partnerships to unlock 45 billion years of higher-quality life over the next decade. ​ He also co-led McKinsey’s Global Life Sciences Practice for 7 years, doubling its scale and impact while innovating client services in digital and analytics. His leadership extended to McKinsey’s Organization Practice in EMEA, where he spearheaded initiatives in human capital, transformation, and post-merger integration. ​

Mr. Dewhurst also serves as an external healthcare partner at Lightrock, a global impact investor focused on socially beneficial transformations in healthcare, finance, and education. ​ He is also a Senior Advisor at PJT Partners, a global M&A advisory firm, and a Board Member/Chair of the Audit Committee at Distalmoon, a robotics-assisted surgery company. ​

Martin holds an MBA from INSEAD, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List, and a BA from Magdalen College, Oxford.
