Jan De Witte

Jan is an accomplished public company CEO and board director with extensive experience leading international growth and transformation for global technology and MedTech companies. Jan formerly served as CEO and a Director of Integra LifeSciences, a global leader in regenerative tissue technologies, and neurosurgical and ENT solutions, where Jan has driven international expansion, operational excellence, strategic acquisitions and innovation. His board and governance expertise spans multiple public and private boards, including current service as a director for ResMed Inc, a global leader in digital health technologies and cloud-connected medical devices that transform care for people with sleep apnea, COPD and other chronic diseases. Jan also held previous directorships at Barco N.V. and international Joint Ventures between industry-leading organizations.

Prior to Integra, Jan served as CEO of Barco N.V., a global technology leader in advanced visualization solutions for healthcare, entertainment, and enterprise. During his tenure, he advanced digital transformation, accelerated product innovation, and expanded Barco’s market presence worldwide. His earlier global business leadership roles include 18 years at GE Healthcare, in roles across Digital Health, Services, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality /Lean Six Sigma, leading team across the Americas, EMEA and Asia. Jan’s career began with foundational roles in strategic consulting at McKinsey in Europe, and manufacturing & supply chain leadership at Procter & Gamble in Belgium, establishing his deep expertise in strategy and operations.

In addition to his public board service, Jan has been active in industry leadership as a board member of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). His commitment to fostering innovation also includes his former roles as chair of Hangar K, a Belgian innovation hub, and board member of the Ghent University in Belgium. A Belgian citizen, Jan has worked and lived across Europe and the USA.

Jan holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in electromechanical engineering with highest distinction from KU Leuven in Belgium and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
