Elizabeth Tirone
Head of Legal and Compliance
Elizabeth is an experienced lawyer with a broad range of cross-border experience across emerging markets private equity and fund formation, development finance, technology, life sciences and energy.
Prior to GHO, Elizabeth spent 15 years in the legal department of British International Investment where she advised on various matters including fund investments, co-investments and investment structuring. Prior to working with BII, Elizabeth was Of Counsel at Morrison & Foerster in Singapore, Hong Kong and London.
Originally from the US, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. Elizabeth has worked and lived in the US, Asia and the UK.
Alison Armstrong is currently on maternity leave and is expected to return on 31 March 2025. Elizabeth Tirone is acting Head of Legal & Compliance during this time.
