London, UK – GHO Capital, the European specialist healthcare investor, today announces the appointment of Ken Eichmann as Principal. The firm now has a dedicated healthcare team of 10 investment professionals.
Ken is an experienced private equity investment professional who brings a wealth of origination, transaction execution and M&A expertise to GHO Capital. He previously spent five years as an investment executive at Stirling Square Capital Partners in London where he was responsible for the origination, execution and portfolio management of pan-European mid-market buyout investments across all major sectors including healthcare. Prior to Stirling Square, Ken was an investment executive at Odewald & Compagnie in Berlin where he focused on mid-market buyout investments in the DACH region. Earlier in his career, Ken specialised in leveraged finance and high yield transactions across Europe, the MENA region and the US through roles at Citigroup and Banc of America Securities in London and New York. During his time at Citigroup, Ken participated in 13 leveraged buyout and high yield financings of large-cap companies in a variety of sectors including healthcare.
Ken holds an M.Sc. with distinction in Investment Management from Cass Business School, City University in London and graduated from the University of Buckingham with a B.Sc. Hons in Business Economics. A native German speaker, Ken is fluent in English and is conversational in Spanish.
