Edward is a private equity executive with more than 25 years of experience in principal investing, focused on mid-market companies in Europe and North America. He has held senior roles including Partner at G Square Healthcare Private Equity, Founder of Carrycastle, and Head of UK & Northern European private equity at Goldman Sachs PIA.
His work focuses on supporting innovative mid-market life sciences companies to build world-class businesses that deliver better healthcare globally. He began his career at IBM in engineering and corporate development, working with technologies that are now widely used in the healthcare sector.
Edward currently serves on the boards of Sapio Sciences, Biocare Medical, Scientist.com, Velocity Clinical and FairJourney Biologics. He previously served on the boards of BioAgilytix, and DDC through to their successful exits.
He holds a BSc from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Edward has lived and worked in the US, the UK, and continental Europe, and speaks French.
