Alan has over 30 years private equity investment experience.
Previously, Alan was Global Head of Healthcare at 3i plc, then CEO of Hermes GPE, before co-founding GHO Capital. He is currently a member of the board at Avid Bioservices, Sterling, Alcami, and Ardena, and previously Quotient Sciences until its successful exit.
Alan holds a degree in Law, an MSc in Enterprise and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.
Originally from Scotland, he is a former Chair of the BVCA and is currently Chair of the European Healthcare Investors Association (EHIA).
